Meanings

  1. to follow the path of someone/something

Examples

  1. fa atba’hum fir’awnu bi junu_dihi
    (فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ بِجُنُودِهِ);
    So Pharoah, along with his troops, followed them… – Quran 20:76
  2. fa atba’u_hum mushriqin
    (فَأَتْبَعُوهُم مُّشْرِقِينَ);
    So they followed them in the early morning… – Quran 26:60
